    • Social Media Coordinator (freelance)

    Overview

    Do you share and post to social media in your sleep? Do you know what it takes to grow an online community? We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator to lead the development and execution of the content and social media strategy for Mukha Yoga. This role will be responsible for implementing strategies and tactics that grow our fan base and engage and retain followers while helping convert them into leads, customers, active fans, and promoters of our brand.

    The ideal candidate will be business savvy, have a passion for yoga, have a genuine interest in social media, and have the ability to see the big picture while simultaneously being able to execute on a tactical level.

    This role is remote. 

    Responsibilities

    • Create and implement influencer programs and campaigns, working with Digital Marketing & PR teams to support product launches and other strategic initiatives
    • Continuously evaluate and manage new and existing social tools and vendors
    • Manage monthly and quarterly analytics reporting processes for social media and influencer outreach programs
    • Design posts to sustain our readers' curiosities and create buzz around new products
    • Create engaging text, image, and video content
    • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics

    Requirements

    • 2-3 years experience working in social media (agency, in-house social media, advertising)
    • Must have an in-depth knowledge of ALL social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and Pinterest)
    • Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, experience with Illustrator, InDesign, and other design software
    • Familiar with YouTube and similar video streaming sites
    • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
    • Yoga knowledge is a plus
