    Inspiration of the Day - Never, Ever Give Up

    Imagine believing that you will never walk without assistance or be off pain medication for the rest of your life. Imagine then deciding not to cooperate with that dismal prognosis with the help of a yoga instructor who saw you and had faith that you were destined for more than a life of pain management.

    This video inspired me during the early days of my yoga teacher training and continues to inspire me every time I feel stuck or am struggling with a new flow or pose. Not only because Arthur beat the odds, but also as an example of a person’s need to find the right yoga mentor at the right time. For a wounded military veteran, a man with a bit of a drill sergeant vibe and a big heart was his saving grace.

    If you can breathe, you can practice yoga. Start there, and never give up.
